Winter Festival: On a wintery evening in January our Four-year-olds and their families gather on the school's lawn. Bonfires are lit, child-made lanterns glow, songs are sung, warm cider and cookies are devoured. The night sky is on display as the long nights of winter are celebrated.

TRIKE-A-THON: The first Friday in May, the three and four-year-olds bring their trike, bike or other ride-on toy to school and take to the track set up for laps. The event also features a bike safety demonstration by our Westport Officer Friendly who watches as the children take to their trikes. This event is a fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Bring a Parent to School Day: On a Saturday in October, teachers host an abbreviated day of school so that family members can bring the children to visit and participate.

Fall Festival: The school’s lawn is converted to a maze of attractions for family fun. A petting zoo, pony rides, bounce house, pumpkin painting, and other activities create a festive time, including a pizza picnic lunch. This usually follows Bring a Parent to School Day in October.

Field Day: Three and Four-year-olds participate in relays, messy projects, face painting, and the ultimate Tug-o-War. Spirits are high as the children cheer each other on.
Beach Days: During the first week in June, the Three and Four-year-olds head to Compo Beach for fun in the sun. An animal educator from Animal Embassy joins us for interesting activities that increase awareness of beach life.
