Though there is the option of three days or five days for this
program, both programs offer the same curriculum content. Social skills
and the ideals of working cooperatively are encouraged. Emergent
literacy and numeracy skills are supported in the context of hands on
activities both indoors and out. Children will act out the stories they
read and make up. They will experiment with a wide range of art
materials and processes. Number and letter recognition, counting and
one to one correspondence are presented in a meaningful context: play.
Children look closely at nature and the environment right outside our
door. The children’s routine is the structure of their day.
There are two morning sessions for three year olds:
Five days a week, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
