Programs Overview

The Co-op provides half-day preschool programs for a maximum of 80 children ages 2 to 4 years old at a given time. The school is staffed by at least four people at all times for the hours 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, September to mid June. During the Summer Camp Program, the school is open 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

The Co-op programs interrelate each year in order to give continuity to your child’s preschool experience.  The Four year old class will build on the experiences of the Three year old class as the Threes builds on the Two year old class.  More emphasis is made on developing listening skills and following directions as the children progress from year to year.  Through puzzles, art, drama and sensory motor play, the children are exposed each year to pre-reading, pre-writing and math skills appropriate to this age level and in accordance with individual readiness.
